Practical information

The 9th EPRI conference on Information and Communication Technologies will take place on 19th and 20th March 2007 in the Portuguese Parliament, Lisbon, Portugal.

Conference venue

The conference will be held in the Sala do Senado - Senate Room - in the Portuguese Parliament.

Hotel Accommodation

Conference hotel rates have been negotiated for EPRI 2007 delegates with two hotels in Lisbon - Tivoli Lisboa and Tivoli Jardim.

Conference hotel accommodation should be booked by each participant. Delegates are strongly recommended to book their accommodation early as it will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The hotel is ideally located on the main avenue. Rooms are fully equipped with individual air conditioning, direct outside telephone line, satellite TV, video channels and radio and Internet connection.

Tivoli Jardim ****

Opened in 1968, the 119-room Tivoli Jardim hotel is located on Lisbon's Av. da Liberdade and next to the larger Tivoli Lisboa.

Transport

There will be no pick-up service from the airport, please use public transport.

By taxi or bus, the hotels are approximately 20 minutes (7,5km) away from the airport.

The Parliament is approximately 25 minutes (9km) away from the airport and 1,5km from the hotel.

A hotel shuttle bus will run from each of the conference hotels to and from the Parliament each morning and evening during the conference. Additionally there will be a shuttle service from the hotel to the restaurant where the dinner will take place.
