Dublin Bus operates the city’s bus routes running from 06.00-23.30. For details on all routes, timetables and special value tickets available, enquire at any tourist information office. - LUAS
The Dublin Luas system, is a state of the art light rail transit system running from St Stephens Green to Sandyford and from Tallaght to Connolly Station.

Three of the main taxi ranks in the city centre are located on O ‘Connell Street, College Green and at St. Stephen’s Green. It is also possible to hail taxis on the street.

The international calling code for Ireland is 00 353. The local area code for Dublin is 01. In an emergency call 999 or 112 and specify whether you require the police (Garda), an ambulance, the fire service. - Currency
The Euro is the only currency that is officially recognised as legal tender in the Republic of Ireland.
- Electrical Current
220/240 volts (50 cycles) is the standard electrical current and a 3-pinned adapter may be required. - Smoke-Free Policy
Ireland has implemented a smoking ban in the workplace. This means that smoking is forbidden in enclosed places of work in Ireland.

Hotel accomodationConference hotel rates have been negotiated for EPRI 2008 delegates
with three hotels in Dublin:
Conference hotel accommodation should be booked by each
participant. For reservation we kindly ask you to use the hotel registration forms that you can download here.
Please, return the completed hotel registration form by 17 March 2008 (extended deadline) directly
- to the reservation department at the hotel and
- also please send a copy of this form to the following email: EPRI2008@oireachtas.ie or FAX: 00353 1 6184305.
Reservation requests will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis. Room cannot be guaranteed for Hotel Reservation Forms received after the deadline.
Presentations and contributionsIn case you want to submit a presentation, please forward it to info@epri.org. Your presentation will be included into the conference map after an internal audit.
