The 10th EPRI conference on Information and Communication Technologies

The Tenth European Parliaments Research Initiative conference on ICT for Parliamentarians will be hosted by the Houses of the Oireachtas (Parliament of Ireland) in Dublin on 27 and 28 March, 2008.

In keeping with the tradition of previous EPRI conferences, the 2008 EPRI conference will focus on Information and Communication Technologies and their roles in the democratic decision making process. The conference will seek to build on the progress made at previous conferences, and in particular, to address the issues raised at the 2007 Conference which was held in Lisbon.

The theme of the 10th EPRI conference will be:

“The Digital Dividend: How Parliamentarians can secure greater voter participation at elections and increased public interest in politics using Information and Communication Technologies.”

The conference will be held in Leinster House which is the seat of the Irish Houses of Parliament.
